Juliet Becoming
In a house shaped by expectation, Juliet moved as she always had, within its patterns, its rhythms, its quiet agreements.
But something began to shift when she met him. It gathered quietly, altering the way her body met the world, and how the world answered her in return.
It cannot be named, and so it cannot be contained.
What follows is not a rebellion, nor a refusal, but a turning, one that does not seek permission and does not turn back.
This is a short story of becoming, of what emerges when the structure of the world no longer fits the shape of what is rising within it.
